Wolves have joined in partnership with Chicago City Soccer Club which will see the two clubs collaborate to nurture some of the best talents in both the UK and America
We chose Wolverhampton Wanderers as our new International partner because we believed that their organization aligned perfectly with our mission and values as a community club trying to provide elite level players a pathway to an academy. Wolves provide a very personal relationship compared to what we have been use to in the past and so we are excited to have a lot more connectivity with a top professional organization. Through our partnership we have created a new and exciting ELITE PROGRAM for the youth of Chicago with many new opportunities.
CATEGORY 1 ACADEMY
Wolverhampton Wanderer's are one of only 26 UK academies to have Category 1 status!
Only a small group of football academies are awarded with a Category One status, and not all of them are in the Premier League.Category One status is extremely hard to achieve and takes real commitment from the club.
Any football academies that have this status is a show of the quality of the coaching, equipment, facilities and strategic development that you can expect to find.Category One football academies also invest a lot to maintain their status.

WOLVES IN CHICAGO 23'
CAMPS
Wolves Academy staff will be in Chicago to run a summer camp Monday thru Thursday from 9am-3pm with half and full day options. Each sign up will include a t shirt, evaluation, and a USL Pro season ticket for the 2023 season.
SYMPOSIUM
Wolves & CITY will be hosting a coach symposium for the public on Saturday June 10th before the USL2 game and Sunday June 18th before the USLW game.
Staff will take candidates through both models and how they collaborate together with an insight to the USL Pro structure and on the field activities by UEFA/USSF licensed coaches.

academy experience
The AE is for Elite level players looking to win an opportunity to be invited to the Wolves Academy in England in 2024.
ID sessions will run 1 day with players being invited to play in games on Friday June 16th prior to a USL W game where they will also be highlighted on the field at half time.
Super Y League players will be evaluated within their team training.
Training & Game observation
Wolves Academy staff will provide workshops with our CITY Staff while also observing and working with our CITY coaches within the Super Y practices and they will plan to attend games on June 17th to evaluate the elite players in competition.

Wolves & Chicago City will be providing candidates an insight into both organizations and how they collaborate through grassroots, academy, and professional levels. Coaches will work through content on and off the field. USL Pro staff will present on their game day preparation and candidates can hear from USL players, watch the warm ups, and enjoy the game from our VIP tent.
